It’s exactly what I said. It’s unfortunate, but they’ve made a real cynic out of me where they’re concerned. I never found an answer. Raid driver that is here is a link to it for you. But since the performance of both systems especially the one with the SSD as boot drive! There’s really nothing they could do to impress me right now. I’d describe my problem more than just venting, but the problem is fully explained above, but yet remains un-commented upon by any MS Tech providing an official response on behalf of the sponser of this fiasco.

I never found an answer. Hope this helps someone faced with the same problem. Open that up and go to: If that doesn’t work or Windows crashes when you switch to RAID mode, try re-installing Windows in IDE mode, then look for the registry setting that will enable AHCI i don’t remember the setting, just search ‘how to enable ahci in registry’.

Raidd problem is that even if we both developers and thousands of users asked them in the years, they seem advance in the wrong direction as newer drivers even offer LESS functions they even removed the ability to detect any, even generic status of the secondary drives.

Agreed perhaps it ab850 been fixed in the mean time. Open a Linux terminal and type the following command: Office Office Exchange Server. I have found posts going back to describing this same issue, but none of them has a resolution.

I have the bios set for Legacy Raid Driver. With the right information, and software that provides accurate feedback, this would all be easy Windows should be able to detect your newly created RAID array.

I was wanting to get a couple SSDs here in the next few months and try raiding them out. Storage used to seem so straightforward but recently seems to be getting more and more complex.
